A fun Filled Summer Wedding at Cobbles

A couple who were not only unrealised neighbours but now lifelong friends.

Hannah and Paddy are simply the loveliest people you would ever wish to meet. Their love for one and other shone through as soon as I met them, not taking life too seriously and always making room to have fun.

Whilst on their pre-shoot down Southerndown we were discussing my upcoming house move and quickly found out that these legends would become my neighbours. To say the pressure was on to capture their day perfectly was now a bit of an understatement!

Their wedding day was nothing short of exceptional. With beautiful weather, epic guests and the best vibe ever. It was truly an honour to capture this amazing couples story at the beautiful Cobbles Weddings and Events.

Wedding Ceremony at Cobbles Weddings and Events

The couple had their wedding ceremony up in the hayloft at Cobbles. This room is perfect for larger weddings compared to the barn room downstairs which is better suited for smaller weddings.

Group Photos at Cobbles Weddings and Events

The couple had paid for the deli to be closed for their wedding day, allowing us to utilise the gorgeous courtyard for the group photos and also being the perfect place for the couple to enjoy their reception with family and friends.

When it comes to group photos, I always recommend in my catchup calls before the wedding to my couples a list of approximately 9-15 groups. I personally find that this number allows for all of the immediate family and close friends to have a photo with the couple, without them taking too long. These are the photos that are going to be displayed on a wall or nans mantlepiece, so its important the scene is perfect.

Couple Portraits

As I always do when capturing weddings, I like to keep my couple portraits as short as possible but without them feeling rushed. Ensuring that I capture some beautiful images but also not keeping the couple away from their guests for too long. The courtyard made for the perfect spot for some lovely couple portraits with perfect lighting from the sun and a spot of colour from the gorgeous hanging baskets lining the building. The brides father was also an avid tractor enthusiast so we had to include this in some of the pictures too!

Reception at Cobbles

This was my kind of wedding. Sun shining, drinks flowing and everyone just having an awesome time! These are the weddings that fill me with such fulfilment and joy.

Golden Hour at Cobbles

Being only a short drive away from Southerndown beach. We decided to jump in my car and go down to the cliffs and beach during sunset. These are some of my favourite golden hour photos I have ever taken with Hannah’s dress blowing in the wind perfectly to get some really dramatic images.
