Being a creative wedding photographer we are like kids in a sweet shop whenever we photograph weddings at this stunning venue. Stunning architecture in combination with the picturesque 24 acres of land suitable for you to even arrive by helicopter! I mean please book us if you arrive by helicopter, how cool would that be!
There is an abundance of wedding photography hotspots at Fairyhill and here is just a select few of our favourites. We love starting our couple shots with you walking towards us pretending to be tipsy, this is the perfect way to get you relaxed in front of the camera whilst getting stunning candid wedding photos. What better place to do this than on the lawn with the beautiful manor house in the background and let’s not forget the swing that adds even more fun to the couple shots.
It is always nice to walk down towards the bridge from the swing, making a quick stop off in front of the K-room to take some more dramatic couple portraits, making use of the beaming sun or even your veil for those draw dropping shots we are known for.
The bridge is the perfect opportunity for you to snuggle up close and enjoy a moment to yourselves whilst Oliver takes some beautiful shots of you from the other side of the bridge. Having five minutes to yourself is always needed to actually let it sync in that you’re married!
Fairyhill is situated in the beautiful Swansea Gower, with it being only a 15 minute journey to the breath taking Rhossili Beach to get even more dramatic couple shots. Just jump in the back of our car and lets go have some fun!

Fairyhill is part of a bigger collection by Oldwalls which consists of Fairyhill, Oldwalls and Sant Fraed House . Providing an abundance of rustic retreats for wedding accommodation for your Fairyhill wedding. We would highly recommend the following accommodations:
- The Dairy – A country chic retreat, with flawless interiors, an open plan living and kitchen space, two double bedrooms with en suite, a terrance and beautiful gower gardens, This is possibly the best of the rustic retreats for your wedding at fairyhill, with it being only a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the venue.
- Mulberry House – A rustic cottage with a contemporary twist, nestled in 5 acres of welsh countryside is our favourite Oldwalls retreat for bridal preparations. An open living and kitchen arrangement provides the perfect space for bridal preparations, with it being able to accommodate up to 14 guests. You can also get the party started in the evening of your arrival with the built in surround sound stereo system and hot tub on the private terrace.
- Cerrig Glan – Another chocolate box wedding retreat, with stunning coastal views, outdoor hot tub and heated swimming pool. This beautiful cottage is another favourite of ours for bridal preparations on the morning of your fairyhill wedding.

Fairyhill has come to the rescue with the perfect solution for those stunning summer weddings and those slightly wetter days we are accustomed to in the UK. The venue makes use of its 24 acres of beautiful grounds to host a perfect outdoor wedding with plenty of seats for all of your guests and a luxurious white carpet for you to walk down the aisle. It is an absolute dream to capture summer weddings at fairyhill, making use of all the beautful floral colours to take some creative wedding ceremony photos.
Winter couples do not stress! If it does rain on your wedding day, then Fairyhill has you covered, with the architectural masterpiece that is the K-room making for a beautiful indoor wedding ceremony. The surrounding glass looking out onto the stunning gardens magically brings some of the outside in, with beautiful natural day light.
What are the reception options at Fairyhill?
The K-room is the main wedding reception room at Fairyhill and why wouldn’t it be? With it having ample space to accommodate large wedding parties and even some entertainment options such as the silver service wedding singers. Directly through a set of double doors is the main manor house, with a contemporary bar and rustic lounge area warmed by a traditional log fire.
The manor house makes for a seamless transition during the room turnarounds between ceremony, reception and evening party. The staff are there for any request you may have and will ensure everything is performed smoothly to make your wedding day run without a hitch.
