common questions about Hybrid Photography

How does Hybrid Photography work?

I move effortlessly throughout your wedding day with hybrid cameras designed for both photography and videography, allowing me to capture your story in both stills and motion. While it’s not always possible to preserve every single moment in both formats, I can promise that every meaningful part of your day will be captured, either as a timeless photograph or as beautifully recorded film, so you can relive it for years to come.

I will always put maximum effort into online scouting of your venue prior to your wedding and will make sure all rules and regulations are abided by for wherever you decide to get married.

Whats the difference between videography and hybrid photograph?

The two main differences are cost and crew size. Hybrid coverage is significantly more cost-effective than booking a separate videographer, as video is captured alongside photography rather than as a full, dedicated production. I move seamlessly between both throughout the day, ensuring natural coverage without disruption.

The other difference is the number of people involved. With hybrid coverage, there’s no separate videographer, just me and my cameras, allowing your day to feel more relaxed, unobtrusive, and intimate.

However, the best way to find out if you should book me as your wedding photographer is to simply book in a call with me.

What’s included in your wedding hybrid photography packages?

A full photo gallery along with the print option included in your package along with a 3-5+ minute highlight film of your wedding day.

How much does hybrid photography cost?

My hybrid package costs £850 for the provision of a highlight film alongside any of my photography packages (please note that a second shooter must be purchased alongside the hybrid package).

How long will it take to get my photos and video back?

Both your photos and video will be delivered to you in full within 8-12 weeks of your wedding date. With a preview photo gallery within 48 hours of your wedding and regular updates on how your photos and video are progressing.

For couples who feel a little awkward/nervous in front of the camera (don’t worry I do to!) pre-wedding shoots are a must have addition to your wedding photography package. They allow us to get to know each other prior to the big day and for me to know what you guys feel comfortable with.

Take a look at my pre-wedding shoot portfolio to get a better idea of what they involve.

How do we book you, and what’s the payment process?

To secure your date with me I require your contract to be signed and a £350 deposit within 7-days of booking me and then a final payment a month before your wedding day.

Do you work alone or with a second photographer?

All my packages with hybrid photography included require the addition of a second shooter.
