A party from start to finish! Kelsey and Tyler’s wedding day at Bryngarw was an absolute joy to capture with endless laughter and a proper family get together feel.
It is always so nice capturing wedding days like this where you just feel part of the family and everyone just having the best time ever.
Wedding Ceremony at Bryngarw
The couple had their wedding ceremony in the main hall at Bryngarw Country Park surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony was emotional yet full of laughter shared between the couple and their guests.
Group Photos at Bryngarw
Bryngarw has such a beautiful landscape surrounding the main building that it provides endless backdrops for group photos. My main go to place is adjacent the main entrance due to its close proximity to where all guests are mingling, to avoid any delays in waiting for people, ensuring that the couple get back to enjoying their day as soon as possible.
When it comes to group photos, I always recommend in my catchup calls before the wedding to my couples a list of approximately 9-15 groups. I personally find that this number allows for all of the immediate family and close friends to have a photo with the couple, without them taking too long. These are the photos that are going to be displayed on a wall or nans mantlepiece, so its important the scene is perfect.
Couple Portraits
With such amazing grounds and architecture, I love varying up my couple portraits when I am at a Bryngarw wedding. Utilising the bay window next to the bar for some gorgeous silhouettes and also using the grounds for the couple to simply walk away and embrace being a married couple.
Reception at Bryngarw
Kelsey and Tylers wedding was filled with pure fun, nothing being taken too seriously and plenty of singing thanks to the amazing male voice choir who sang one of my personal favourites Yma O Hyd!
Speeches at Bryngarw
The speeches were held in the marquee following the wedding breakfast. As with most wedding speeches there were moments of sadness and moments of joy. But what no one was prepared for was the moment the best man got a footstool for the groom to finally be able to reach around him to give him a brotherly hug.
Golden Hour at Bryngarw Country Park
Although we didn’t get a sunset, the couple fully embraced the beautiful Japanese gardens with the famous bridge. I loved using Kelsey’s veil to create some moody black and white images.
First Dance and Party at
The energy at this couples wedding lasted late into the night with everyone throwing some epic shapes on the dancefloor following the couples first dance plaid by the band.
