The King Arthur Hotel is such an amazing wedding venue for couples looking for a truly relaxed wedding venue in the heart of the Swansea Gower. Naomi and Sam’s winter wedding at this rustic venue truly fit the bill when it comes to a family and friend orientated wedding.
Wedding Ceremony at the king arthur hotel
The Couple had a traditional, registrar led ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. The harsh sun made for some beautiful lighting on the couple. Lighting like this is sometimes a challenge for photographers but I personally loved the look it gave as it emphasised the couple and detailing on Naomi’s wedding dress.
Group Photos at the king arthur hotel
The King Arthur Hotel is perfect for group photos in the winter, with a stone patio in front of a perfect backdrop of the Swansea Gower. This is brilliant as it prevents the brides dress from getting dirty and any high heels from sinking into the grass!
When it comes to group photos, I always recommend in my catchup calls before the wedding to my couples a list of approximately 9-15 groups. I personally find that this number allows for all of the immediate family and close friends to have a photo with the couple, without them taking too long. These are the photos that are going to be displayed on a wall or nans mantlepiece, so its important the scene is perfect.
Couple Portraits
After plenty of mingling with family and friends, along with taking those all important group photos. It was time to take a little walk around the grounds at the King Arthur Hotel for some couple portraits.
Reception at the King arthur hotel
The couple opted for a beautiful christmas decoration theme perfectly put together by the team at the King Arthur hotel, along with external suppliers.
First Dance and Party at
Following sparklers and a champagne tower, the couple ended the evening with a beautiful first dance and a party that even got nan up and dancing!
