Weddings at Miskin Manor

From meeting us at the ICC Wedding Fayre to our interrogation from the couple during our wedding consultation, we just knew this wedding was going to be epic! A quick debrief on the consultation, it wasn’t an interrogation but for those of you who have ever watched the internship then just imagine the guys application to google and that’s exactly what it was like haha. Our personalities immediately gelled and it was a no brainer that we were going to get along.

Bridal Prep at Miskin Manor

Jane enjoyed her bridal prep in one of the beautiful suites at Miskin Manor Hotel, joined by her daughters and close friends. Immediately we felt like part of the family, chatting with Jane’s mother who was beaming from ear to ear. Jane had done her homework and presented us with a box of all her important details for us to capture. Then it was simply a case of candids, candids and more candids! There was so many amazing natural moments during Jane’s bridal prep. Being a documentary wedding photographer, we were like kids in a sweet shop. Janes bridal prep finished with a first look with her dad and what a moment that was!

Groom Prep

Kelv decided to get ready at the family home, with his sons and best man. What Kelv didn’t know however, is that Jane had organised a very special present for him. An OMEGA Watch! and the couple shared the moment of him opening his gift via FaceTime. Oliver was in awe, with his shared love for Swiss watches. The lads celebrated the end of their groom prep with a bottle of fizz before making their way to the church.

Ceremony

The couple decided on a religious service held at the beautiful St John The Baptists Church in Cowbridge. Following the service, the couple enjoyed their confetti exit followed by some swift group shots before the rain poured.

Miskin Manor Wedding Reception

The couple arrived in style by the amazing Price’s cars, at Miskin Manor where the rain had stopped allowing us to capture some beautiful couple shots in the grounds. It was almost compulsory to utilise the beautiful fireplace for a Downton Abbey Styled Family group shot.

The rest of the day was beautiful with stunning speeches and a fantastic first dance. Then to finish, the most amazing sparkler exit we have had the pleasure of capturing! The guys definitely read our wedding sparkler top tip guide.
