Comfortably nestled in the Garw Valley, lies this beautifully quaint Brygarw House. This lovely stone brick house is surrounded by all year round agriculture, supplying endlessly changing colour to perfectly highlight your wedding day. Well known for its ornamental and oriental features throughout the gardens, Brygarw House is a perfect wedding venue for couples looking for a relaxed wedding day.
Charliene and Dan had booked in with us many years ago for their Brygarw Wedding, but unfortunately due to the unforeseen pandemic, their wedding day was postponed until spring of 2022. Spoiler alert… It was definitely worth the wait!
Bridal prep at Brygarw House
We met up with Charliene and her bridal party at Brygarw where bridal prep was in full swing. there was still quite a bit left to get organised so before we setup our cameras, we gave a helping hand arranging the chairs, crisp walls, photo frames and the rest of those small little touches that make everyones wedding day unique to them.
The bridal prep was full of laughter and emotion with everyone ensuring Charliene had a bridal prep to remember! What everyone didn’t know at this point however, was that this amazing couple had already gotten married a year earlier so they could go away on their planned honeymoon as husband and wife. The couple had asked Charliene’s Uncle to host the service so there was no rush for registrars, making for a lovely relaxed morning.

Then with an emotional first look with Charliene’s dad, it was time to walk down the aisle to share their vows amongst their family and friends. The ceremony was beautiful conducted by Charliene’s Uncle who did at first forget to tell the guests to sit down haha. The service was beautifully focussed around their little family and the happy memories they all share together. And with that it was time for confetti! the sun was shining brightly in the sky.
Wedding Reception at Bryngarw House
We had the pleasure of capturing some amazing candid moments during the famous wedding speeches. Bryngarw has a beautiful marquee reception room that is beautifully lit by natural light that is a Bridgend wedding photographers dream. There were so many funny memories mentioned during the speeches along with the classic lines from the best man.
Following on from the wedding reception, we whisked Charliene and Dan away for some stunning sunset photos within the agricultural beauty that is Bryngarw House Gardens. Charliene looked absolutely breathtaking in her wedding dress.

Then it was time for everyone to let their hair down and enjoy the party that was accompanied by a delicious Chinese styled buffet. Oliver definitely ate his bodyweight in spring rolls that evening!
