Holly and Bens wedding day at Clearwell Castle was nothing short of exceptional with a vibe which was off the charts. A perfect prep filled with bubbles and laughter to a party that got me soaked in champagne but filled with joy.
Bridal Prep at Clearwell Castle
Holly and her bridal party started the morning in the adjacent cottage to clearwell castle before making their way over to the main bridal suite for the final touchups to makeup and a few more glasses of prosecco. I absolutely love the bridal prep room at clearwell castle with ample opportunities for photos.
Wedding Ceremony at Clearwell Castle
The grandhall is such an iconic room at this gorgeous Monmouthshire wedding venue. With beautiful high ceilings, stunning architecture and large windows letting in plenty of gorgeous natural light.
Group Photos at Clearwell Castle
It was a beautiful summers day with all guests mingling in the courtyard to the side of the main castle. This is a brilliant spot for group photos with a big lawn providing ample space for bigger groups and also being close enough to the bar area that no one can go wandering too far.
When it comes to group photos, I always recommend in my catchup calls before the wedding to my couples a list of approximately 9-15 groups. I personally find that this number allows for all of the immediate family and close friends to have a photo with the couple, without them taking too long. These are the photos that are going to be displayed on a wall or nans mantlepiece, so its important the scene is perfect.

First Dance and Party at Clearwell Castle
The couple opted to have their first dance and party in the main lobby of the building rather than in the basement. Personally I think this looked epic and tied in perfectly with the luxury feel of the day. And the party continued the epic vibes which we had seen throughout the entire day!
