Hollie and Lewis hosted a very intimate and elegant wedding at the beautiful Sant Ffraed House in Abergavenny. The day was hosted by their dear friend Derek who was not only the master of ceremonies but also a magician providing endless entertainment for the couples guests.
Although the weather wasn’t quite on our side, the interior of this stunning building made for the perfect backdrop for all the photos we needed to do. We also jumped at the chance to get outside when the weather cleared to get some stunning couple portraits with the welsh mountains in the background.

Wedding Ceremony at Sant Ffraed House
The couple had a lovely ceremony hosted by the wonderful Monmouthshire registrars around their closest family and friends. The couple looked absolutely stunning, with the flowers perfectly complementing them and their guests.
Group Photos at Sant Ffraed House
With the weather not on our side, we made use of the ceremony room with the fireplace as the focal point for all of the main group photos along with the iconic marble staircase photo for the wedding party shot.
When it comes to group photos, I always recommend in my catchup calls before the wedding to my couples a list of approximately 9-15 groups. I personally find that this number allows for all of the immediate family and close friends to have a photo with the couple, without them taking too long. These are the photos that are going to be displayed on a wall or nans mantlepiece, so its important the scene is perfect.
