Rocky shores, castles ruins and stunning agriculture, Dunraven bay is an absolute gold mine for a creative wedding photographer. Being a popular South Wales Wedding Photographer we often find ourselves at this beautiful destination for couple shoots.

Helen and Nathan are getting married at the stunning Canada Lodge and Lake later on this year but wanted to get comfortable in front of the camera prior to the big day. So what better way to do that than having a pre-wedding photoshoot with us. These are the perfect opportunity to see how we work and what “poses” work best for you. Now we put poses in inverted commas because if you have taken a look at our style then you will know we are not a fan of awkward posing but rather capturing those natural shots and fun memories.

The couple took our advice on board and waited until later on in the evening for their photoshoot. We always recommend that perfect golden hour time to get that stunning orange light that isn’t harsh on the skin, doesn’t make you squint and makes for some stunning couple portraits.

These guys photoshoot was so much fun, utilising subtle prompts including “whisper something in helens ear” (can be funny or naughty, we make no judgement) or cwtch up close and our favourite, walk towards us pretending you’re tipsy. All of these subtle prompts allow us to capture stunningly intimate couple photographs.

We cannot wait to be a part of your wedding day and capture all of those priceless, candid memories on your Canada Lodge Wedding day.
