A proper welsh family wedding is the only way I can describe this beautiful wedding day.
From the moment I arrived at bridal prep I felt part of the family. Having a big cwtch off of the mother of the bride and a very firm handshake, with a “alright butt!” off of the dad.
This cobbles wedding was so elegant with the bride and groom putting so much attention to all of the details. The black suits looked epic as well.
A golden hour of dreams followed by an epic party full of class moves and endless baby guiness was the best end to an epic wedding day.
Wedding Ceremony at Cobbles
The couple had their wedding ceremony in the Barn which is the perfect space for a small intimate wedding like this. The light from the skylight elevates the room with beautiful natural light. This space, although tight, is perfect for a more intimate setting.
Group Photos at Cobbles
With it being a hot day, we utilised the front driveway at cobbles for the couples group photos. That way we were able to keep everyone in the shade whilst keeping the background pretty.
When it comes to group photos, I always recommend in my catchup calls before the wedding to my couples a list of approximately 9-15 groups. I personally find that this number allows for all of the immediate family and close friends to have a photo with the couple, without them taking too long. These are the photos that are going to be displayed on a wall or nans mantlepiece, so its important the scene is perfect.
Couple Portraits
The couple had their dog chaperoned to the wedding day for some photos and if you have read my about me page, you will know that I am a massive dog lover and was in my absolute element capturing this gorgeous bundle of energy.
Reception at cobbles
The couple had the entire venue to themselves for the day which naturally lead to everyone using the courtyard area to mingle. This is a lovely space where everyone can sit down and relax with a glass of pimms.
Golden Hour at Cobbles
After seeing some of my other galleries at cobbles, the couple had decided that they too would love to go down to Southerndown for some gorgeous golden hour photographs on the clifftops. The sun always hits so perfectly by here making for some of the most beautiful golden hour images I have ever taken.
